Cultivating Change the Biltmore Way
Mon., April 20 | 8:00-9:45 AM | 1.5 CE
Learn how to cultivate change at your funeral home the right way. The Biltmore Estate, a historic attraction dedicated to the preservation of culture and artifacts for more than a century, has learned to stay relevant to today’s consumers. While change is rarely easy, you and your staff can learn to persevere and find success, using Biltmore’s time-tested approach to enduring change and leading it. This program will equip you with:
- Tools to thoughtfully plan and drive change-achieving results;
- Strategy and tactics to lead inclusive change that gains momentum and creates a driving vision shared by all members of your team;
- Actionable take-aways that will help you transfer Biltmore’s best practices to your firm.

Name: Anna Sullins
Organization: Biltmore Center for Professional Development
Position: Director of Learning & Development
What I hope people will learn from my session: “My hope is that participants identify disrupters that may have slowed progress of past changes they have been part of, and also learn strategies to propel future change forward. My goal is that participants walk away with tools for creating buy-in, support, and sustainability for future change initiatives.”
A fun fact about me: “I grew up in a very small town in south Alabama, and attending the University of Alabama for both undergraduate and graduate school. While I like to think I’ve tamed my southern accent, it does slip out from time to time.”
